So, you're engaged? Congratulations!

For many of you, you'll take this wedding planning caper in your stride, but for some of you it can feel a little overwhelming.
There's so much to organise! The ceremony included.

To give you an idea of what's involved, here are the steps we'll take together to create your ceremony:

• Meet at my home in New Farm to discuss your vision, timing and the legal requirements
• Once you have decided I am the celebrant for you and the deposit is paid, we will meet again to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage. (NOIM). This needs to be completed between 18 months and 1 month before your wedding day. The NOIM remains with me, the Authorised Marriage Celebrant, until your marriage is official
• From here we can work on your ceremony - its format, tone and style. You may have some stories, a special poem, a reading or wedding ritual you'd like  to include. If you're stuck for ideas I have pulled together some sample readings and vows you may wish to use. It's your wedding and it's completely up to you!
• Once the ceremony is finalised, we'll arrange a rehearsal and look at completing the first of your marriage certificates
• On your wedding day, leave the rest to me. I'll coordinate with your venue, photographer, musicians or DJ, bridal party and witnesses so you can relax and enjoy this most amazing time of your lives...
